Sunday, Lezlee Thorson and her daughter, Kayla, spent the day with Jackie. Lester took in the Steam Threshers Bee at Stump Lake on Sunday.

Carrie Madson and Paul Prince were brief visitors at Dave and Linda Madson’s on Friday afternoon.

Carrie, Great Grandma Linda, Grandma Melodie, sister Kennedee, Dad Shannon, Aunt Brandi and cousins Weston, Tucker and Ryder Nelson, Great Grandma Helen, cousins Sydney and Silas and friends helped McKenzee Madson celebrate her 8th birthday at her party in the park in Devils Lake on Saturday.

Sunday, Dave and Linda went to Stump Lake to take in the annual Labor Day weekend Threshing Bee. The music by the Dakota Keys Accordions and the Dun Ville Entertainers, the parade, craft show, food and the beautiful day were totally enjoyed.

The Stump Lake Pioneer Village and the Museum are awesome. The job of taking care of it all is done totally by volunteers and they do a marvelous job. All the buildings and the grounds are well kept. The museum has so many things to see and they are so well displayed it is amazing.
