DPRCA presents Oktoberfest

The Dakota Prairie Regional Center for the Arts (DPRCA) invites you to mark your calendars in anticipation of their annual beer and wine tasting fundraiser. This year the DPRCA is shaking things up with a new theme: Oktoberfest!

The event will be held at the Brown Memorial Auditorium in New Rockford. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with guest registration in the foyer. From there, attendees will make their way into the lavishly decorated auditorium for social hour, which will include hors d'oeuvres, beverages a la carte and the opportunity to bid on unique items in the silent auction.

The event will begin in earnest at approximately 7 p.m. when the beer and wine tasting stations open. This year four fall-themed beers will be offered in addition to two German wines. While guests enjoy a hearty German faire, they will be regaled with traditional German music provided by members of the NDSU polka band, Polka Nova.

As the evening progresses, live music will be provided by DPRCA stage alum, Tony Peterson, who will offer a mix of both acoustic covers and original songs.

Tickets for the event are available now and are offered in two tiers. A $50 ticket will include everything (the meal, the tasting, and an evening of entertainment), or for $30, guests can enjoy the meal and the evening's festivities while purchasing beverages a la carte from the bar.
