The falling leaves and cool morning temperatures signal the arrival of a new season and time for the annual Fall Festival at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd (LHGS)in New Rockford. It will be held Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the Vance Anderson Hall. Everyone is invited to take part in the activities that are part of the festival. Good food and fellowship can be found by enjoying homemade pie and other desserts with your family, friends and neighbors. Tasty baked goods will also be sold. Anyone who would like to help by donating baked goods can bring them to the dining room on the day of the festival. The funds earned at these activities are used to purchase Christmas and birthday gifts for the residents and support other needs of LHGS.
The Love Letter Fund Drive is also part of the LHGS Auxiliary’s annual fund raising. This year the contributions will be used to purchase dinnerware (dinner plates, salad plates, dessert plates, and bowls) for all resident dining rooms.
