New Rockford-Sheyenne (NR-S) played host to Carrington in non-region volleyball action here on Thursday, Sept. 13. Carrington is very well coached and will be one of the top teams in District 5 and Region 3. Carrington led 8-4 in set one, and went on an 8-0 run to help win set one, 25-16. In set two, the Cardinals led 6-0, and won 25-12. Set three started out close, with NR-S leading 3-0. The Cardinals went on a 10-1 run, and won set three by a final of 25-8.
