Businesses to be recognized at Chamber Honors event

The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to its Chamber Honors event, a networking and recognition reception, on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in Buck-It's Bar. This more informal social event will take the place of the annual banquet and auction.

At the event attendees will enjoy appetizers prepared by Buck-It's owner and Chamber member Justin McDonald as they sip drinks and mingle. Then, at 7:30 p.m. there will be a program with entertainment and special recognition awards including both "First Dollar" plaques for new businesses and "Longevity" awards for firms who have been operating in our community for at least 25 years.

Cost is $10 per person for members of the public who wish to attend, and includes appetizers, drink and entertainment. Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 12 by calling the Chamber voicemail at (701) 947-2211, or email [email protected].

All new businesses who have opened within the past year and non-member businesses who have been in operation for at least 25 years, whether under one owner or several, are asked to contact President Amy Wobbema at (701) 947-2417 so that you can be recognized. This evening is designed to honor and recognize our local businesses for the role they play in keeping our community a fine place to live, work and play.
