The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) Division of Medical Marijuana received final scores from the review panel tasked with evaluating and scoring complete dispensary applications. Two entities have been selected to move forward with the registration process. Harvest of Bismarck, LLC will locate their facility in Bismarck while the other entity, Acreage North Dakota, LLC, will be located in Fargo.
“The selection of two entities to be eligible for registration as a dispensary is another major milestone in implementing the Medical Marijuana Program,” stated Jason Wahl, director of the Division of Medical Marijuana. “The dispensaries registered with the NDDoH will be authorized to sell products to registered qualifying patients and designated caregivers.”
According to state law, the two dispensaries selected to move forward must meet additional requirements before being issued a registration certificate from the NDDoH. Dispensaries can purchase dried leaves or flowers and medical marijuana products from either of the two registered manufacturing facilities under the Medical Marijuana Program.
The application period for dispensaries in the Grand Forks and Williston regions is currently open. Applications can be submitted until 3 p.m. on Oct. 10. The NDDoH is also expecting to open online applications for qualifying patients and designated caregivers near the end of October.
