Grandson Travis Laube and friend Lisa of Fargo were visitors and helpers at the Leo and Janet Laube home one afternoon. They enjoyed visiting over lunch at the Rockford Cafe.
Sunday, Shirley Packard and Calvin enjoyed brunch at the Chieftain in Carrington following worship service at Grace Lutheran Church. Shirley had a chance visit with Peggy Omoth Irmen there.
Marvis Holte and daughter Amanda Bickett returned home Sept. 24 from a trip to DeValls Bluff, Ark. where they were guests of Marvis' sister Ardy and Bob Yates. They enjoyed their trip which included some sightseeing and tours of Graceland, wax museums where they were particularly taken by the wax setting of The Last Supper. They took in the many flea markets finding souvenirs, visited Hot Springs, and enjoyed a duck boat ride tour with points of interest pointed out. Despite the 90 degree weather they enjoyed their time in Arkansas. They returned to Minneapolis where they wereovernight guests of Marvis' sister Penny and Troy Sorrells. Troy drove them to Jamestown the next day where tey met other family and then returned home.
Tuesday evening visitor at the Shirley Packard home was Todd Harrison. Gail Klumph was a visitor on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Loren Holte were visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home last weekend. They fellas took in the activities at the Central North Dakota Steam Threshers Reunion in New Rockford on Saturday.
