Student Council collecting food donations

The New Rockford-Sheyenne Student Council is excited to begin its second annual “Trick or Treat for Charity” event. Residents are encouraged to leave non-perishable food items in the donation box near the front entrance of the school from Monday, Oct. 22 -31. Or, leave items on your front porch or by your front door on Halloween for the students to collect that evening. Last year 946 items were collected for the local Hunger Free Food Pantry, and this year their goal is to exceed 1,000 items.
