Tom and Pam Schmid enjoyed the Rodney Atkins concert at Spirit Lake Casino Saturday night.

Dave and Linda Madson visited James Nelson Tuesday afternoon. He reported that his brother, Mayo is recovering from surgery. Speedy recovery, Mayo.

Doris Griffin attended the Lake Region District Health Unit quarterly board meeting on Tuesday evening in Devils Lake. Wednesday evening, Doris enjoyed the 55 Club supper in Minnewaukan. The supper was well attended and the food was abundant and delicious.

Jake Hegland attended the State School Board Conference in Bismarck Thursday and Friday. Sunday, Jake, Amanda, Fallyn and Piper attended the First Lutheran’s Annual Fall Turkey Dinner and bake sale at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne.

Hunter Buehler spent the weekend at the Buehler farm.

Todd, Nadley and Hunter and Craig and Sandy Poulsen joined Beau and Bria Buehler Saturday evening for supper in Maddock.

Bonnie Strand visited Lester and Jackie Roberts on Thursday. Friday, Chad Getscher visited Lester and Jackie. Saturday visitors at the Roberts’ home were Roger Roberts and Mary Keeling. Lezlee Thorson and Bob Hoffart were Sunday callers the Lester and Jackie’s.

Friday night, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson were supper guests at Linda and Dave Madson’s home. Kennedee spent the night with Great Grandpa and Grandma Madson. Saturday morning, the girls went with Dave and Linda out to the camper to close it up for the winter. They were very “bored.” It was too cold, it was raining, and there was “nothing to do” etc. etc. They survived. McKenzee spent Sunday afternoon and night with great grandpa and grandma Madson. Grandma Melodie and Kennedee and Carrie Madson went to Jamestown to spend Sunday night with Shawn and Cathy Caulfield. Kennedee will keep a dental appointment on Monday.
