Oberon Oracles - Nov. 19, 2018

God bless all the past and current veterans and their families for their sacrifices to preserve our freedoms we enjoy. Thank goodness the election is finally over so we don’t have to wear out the remote muting all those tiresome mudslinging ads.

Now, on with the news I have for this week. Betty Rushfeldt visited her sister, Sharon Rance in Devils Lake on Saturday.

Thursday evening, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee Madson had supper with Dave and Linda Madson. Linda enjoyed swim exercises at the casino with Connie Brown and Jan Loe Friday morning.

Sunday, Dave and Linda went to church services at Calvary in Oberon. Following services, the Madson’s enjoyed breakfast at Mr. and Mrs. J’s who offered free breakfast to honor veterans.

Applebees also offered a special menu to honor veterans and the Madson’s also enjoyed supper there.
