Area folks extend sympathy to the families of Orlan Rosenberg. Glen Janzen and Janice Dockter.

Bob and Cheryl Janzen attended a prayer service and funeral recently in Devils Lake for Bob's brother, Glen Janzen, who lost his five year battle with cancer.

Martin and Eloise Lucht were among those who enjoyed the Veterans Day meatball supper at the VFW in Sheyenne made by the VFW Auxiliary.

Marvis and Ken Holte arrived at the Cody and Amanda Bickett home with a fresh baked apple cake Tuesday evening. All enjoyed supper and cake in celebration of Amanda’s birthday.

Monday morning visitor at the Shirley Packard home was Kevin Lesmiester of Jamestown.

Janet Laube was a Sunday afternoon visitor at the Gerda Backman home.

Sunday visitors at the Ken and Marvis Holte home were Jerrod and Angie Holte.

Wednesday Shirley Packard was among the Kindred Sisters Bible Study ladies who met at the Evangelical Free Church. Sharon Young was server. Shirley asked for a prayer for the person who anonymously sent her one dozen fresh roses.

Calvin Packard was among the veterans who were greeted by Marlene Boyer, member of the Carrington American Legion Auxiliary, Sunday morning at the Chieftain in Carrington and were given a free brunch in honor of Veterans Day.

Saturday morning Shirley Packard was among those who attended a baby shower for Marissa Arroyo at the New Rockford Golf Club.

Sunday evening Shirley Packard enjoyed the home delivered turkey supper from the First Lutheran Church Annual Fall supper.
