Food items are needed for the Hunger Free Pantry

The Hunger Free Food Pantry is collecting food items for Christmas baskets that will be distributed to families in the area through the Share the Joy of Christmas Angel Tree program.

The following products are on the Christmas "Wish List" for the season: stuffing, sweet potatoes, gravy, spaghetti sauce, assorted pie filling, Jello and puddings, canned meats, peanut butter, cereal, and boxed dinner mixes such as Hamburger or Tuna Helper. Please drop off these food items by Thursday, Dec. 6. The drop-off point for the food is at the First Lutheran Church in New Rockford and hours are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monetary donations are gratefully accepted to help purchase gift certificates for turkeys, hams, potatoes and breads for the baskets.
