Carrington Health Center Auxiliary announces 'Christmas Parade of Homes'

Sunday, Dec. 9 is the date for the Christmas Parade of Homes in Carrington, N.D. The hours are from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Five beautifully decorated homes are on the tour along with Trinity Lutheran Church’s new Faith Addition. The Carrrington homes on the tour are:

• Tom and Dusty Carr 6865 2nd St NE

• Thad Rosenau and Rhonda Myers, 230 77th Ave NE

• Wayne and Denise Shipman, 1180 4th St S

• Barry and Nicole Threadgold 357 Joal Drive

• Mark and Mary Struxness 1951 11th Ave S

Advance tickets are $10 and are available at Happy Heart Hutch, Carrington Drug, Garden Gate in both Devils Lake and Carrington, Central Pharmacy and from any Auxiliary board member. The day of the tour, tickets are $12 and will be available at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 Poplar Avenue, Carrington. There will be maps, refreshments and Christmas goodies served at the church. Along with the tour of homes, the Auxiliary is having a raffle drawing. Prizes for the drawing are:

• Decorated 3-tier stand

• Decorated sleigh

• Boy and girl on sleigh statue

• $100 gift certificate from Shopko

• $100 gift certificate from Runnings

• Two hand quilted table toppers by Karen Schwalk

These tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and available at the Carrington Health Center Gift Shop or from any Carrington Health Center Auxiliary member. The prizes will be on display at the church the day of the event, with the drawing to be held there at 6 p.m.

The proceeds from this event will go toward purchasing a Blood Bank centrifuge and incubator for the lab department. The Carrington Health Center Auxiliary will receive matching funds from the Modern Woodmen of America.
