Here for Thanksgiving at the home of Bonnie Deegan were her daughter Laina Deegan and granddaughter Averi from Grand Forks. Later, Bonnie, Laina and Averi went to the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford to visit (mom, grandma, great-grandma) Mildred Reinke.

Last Wednesday, Patti Clifton was in Carrington where she met niece Nicole Geiszler and daughter Kiara for lunch and a quick visit. Patti did some shopping in Carrington and New Rockford before returning home to Sheyenne.

Jan Loe and Steph traveled to Crookston for Thanksgiving Day at the home of Todd and Nicole Jacobson, Nathan, Ava and Vivian. Also enjoying the day with the Jacobsons were Marilyn Stenberg and Denise Stenberg, both of Lakota, and Jason Stenberg of Pekin.

Date and time change: The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary will hold their annual potluck Christmas Party on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at the clubhouse in Sheyenne. Come and enjoy an afternoon of visiting, games and lunch!

Jeff and Denise Labrensz spent Thanksgiving in Mobridge, S.D. with Jeff’s parents Harold and Ramona Labrensz. Also in attendance were Matt, Allison and Jase Pfeiffer of New Rockford and Josh and Brittany Labrensz of Philadelphia, Penn.

David and Diane Karlsbraaten were in West Fargo on Nov. 19-21 to help Sara Hanson with Landon, Alice and Gavin while Keith flew to San Diego for work.

On Nov. 21, David and Diane Karlsbraaten returned to Sheyenne with Landon and Alice Hanson.

That evening Tracy, Jason, Henry and Charlie Bedsaul arrived for Thanksgiving. Keith, Sara and Gavin arrived at the Karlsbraaten home on Thursday for Thanksgiving. Jason Bedsaul and Keith Hanson took Landon, Alice and Henry to “The Grinch” in Devils Lake on Friday. Keith, Sara, Landon, Alice and Gavin Hanson returned to West Fargo on Saturday the Nov. 24. Jason, Tracy, Henry and Charlie returned home on Sunday.
