Outdoor notes:

*Ice is never completely safe. Avoid areas with vegetation, moving water, pressure ridges and springs. Check conditions as you go along on the ice.

*Arrowwood and Lake Alice Nat’l. Wildlife Refuges open for late season upland bird hunting. Check with refuge headquarters for closed areas and refuge-specific regulations.
