The community of Sheyenne will once again be hosting their annual Christmas Day Dinner at Ostby Hall in Sheyenne, serving from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken for the dinner. The organizers would appreciate volunteers from the community/area to help with the event and for area businesses to donate to help defray expenses. If you can help in any way and to get more information, call Dianne Hanson at (701) 996-4721. Proceeds will be given for the benefit of the community.

Last Wednesday, Kathy Magnan and Jan Loe met May Fleischer for coffee in Devils Lake.

Sunday afternoon, Holly Zieman of Carrington picked up Patti Clifton and they drove to Devils Lake to visit with Jim Nelson and Carmen Paulson.

Sunday, Jan Loe attended morning worship at Zion Lutheran Church in Minot. Later, Jan, Steph Loe, Jared and Natasha Kolles and family attended a Christmas play in which Medora Kolles performed with her theatre group.

Monday afternoon, Cindy Hegland helped with some Christmas baking at the home of Patti Clifton. Greg stopped in to see how the baking was going and to sample some of the goodies!

On Monday, Jan Loe was in Devils Lake to deliver plates of Christmas goodies to Les and Janice Ferry, Lester Roberts, Don and Yvonne Bonderson from the First Lutheran Church ladies. Later, Jan attended the Open House Retirement Party for Irvin Loe at the Eddy County Courthouse in New Rockford.
