College: Fite takes the LEAD

NR-S grad Samantha Fite is continuing her education at NDSU. This fall, she was accepted into the education program, and her primary content area is English. In addition to ranking among her peers on the dean’s list, Fite was among the fewer than two dozen students to be nominated into and to graduate from the Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) program.

Members of the LEAD program work to inspire and empower student leaders in a diverse, global community. Team members communicate and develop respectful relationships with individuals in the NDSU community, learn how to be ethical in their decision making for an inclusive environment, and be able to identify their leadership qualities through self-awareness and self-discovery.
