Obituary: Sharon Fingerson

Sharon Kay Fingerson, 73 of Sheyenne, passed away on Feb. 7, 2019. A memorial and burial will be held in the spring in Washington State.

Sharon was born to Adolph and Katherine (Bachmeier) Gilderhus of Sheyenne, on Nov. 16, 1945 in Fargo, N.D. She attended Sheyenne High School. She later worked for Boeing in Washington State.

Sharon married her long-time friend Ailert Fingerson Dec. 19, 1964 in Dillon, Mont.

Sharon became active in "Mother's of Twins Club", and received an award for Mother-of-the-Year. She was involved as a "Campfire Leader" and "Cub Scouts Den Mother".

Sharon is survived by her children: Wendy Wilson of Oak Hills, Calif., Kevin (Diane) Fingerson of Enumclaw, Wash., Keith Fingerson if Covington, Wash., and Kathy Dahm of Renton, Wash.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wade Curtis Fingerson, husband; sister, Linda Gilderhus and great-granddaughter, Caroline Grace Leeman.
