Steph Loe, Kathy Albrecht, Jan Loe and Patti Clifton attended the funeral service for Caroline Daugherty last Friday at Grandfield Lutheran Church, rural Sheyenne.

Jeff Labrensz attended the 80th birthday celebration for Fred Allmaras on Saturday at the New Rockford Eagles Club. Later that afternoon, Jeff and Denise went to Devils Lake to take in the District 7 Boys Basketball Tournament.

The Sheyenne Senior Center is open every Tuesday and Friday afternoon for visiting, games, and of course, coffee and goodies. The second Tuesday each month is Soup and Bible Study starting at 11:30 a.m. The last Tuesday of the month, a special birthday cake is served to celebrate the birthdays of members that month. Also, there are still some paperback books free for the taking in the lending library at the center.
