Dave and Karen Anderson, Margie Anderson, Ryan and Laura Hager and sons were among those who attended and enjoyed the dance recital Sunday eve at the high school gym in Carrington. The Hager’s daughter, Josslyn was among the dancers.
New Rockford, Sheyenne and area folks extend sympathy to the family of Nathan Ludwig, Bud Schmid and Brandon Kolstad.
Wednesday, house guests at the Shirley Packard home were Willie and Linda Lies of Fargo and Vicki Gutmann of Texas. Wednesday eve they were among those who attended prayer services for Nolan Lies at St. John’s Catholic Church. Thursday all, plus Shirley, attended Nolan’s funeral service. Linda returned to Colorado with son Matt and Friday Willie and Vicki returned to Fargo.
Martin and Eloise Lucht enjoyed a phone call from son Alan and Julie from Germany. It has been raining there, in the 50s and 60s. Alan had been to Iceland, Italy and soon he will be making an on the job trip to Washington D.C. Hopefully will get to Virginia then to see his brother Larry and Irene. Then he’ll be back to Germany and wait for good golfing weather.
Brief stoppers Saturday at the Shirley Packard home were Abby Lies and Janice Ries.
Thursday, Hen and Marvis Holte were in New Rockford on business. They enjoyed coffee at the Baker’s Dozen. Evening found Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy visitors at the Holte home.
Margie Bohnet was Wednesdays hostess to Kindred Sisters Bible Study. Shirley Packard served lunch.
Thursday Tim Hartl drove Calvin Packard to Fargo where an appointment was kept at the VA hospital and clinic.
Sunday folks enjoyed a dinner at First Lutheran Church in New Rockford to benefit Red Willow Bible Camp.
