NDTC's Dircks to retire

At a recent board meeting, the North Dakota Telephone Company Board of Directors accepted the resignation of long time CEO and General Manager Dave Dircks. Dircks plans to retire from the company on March 29, 2019.

Dircks served in the telecommunications industry for over 44 years. He began his career with Contel of Minnesota in 1975 and was later hired as the CEO and GM of North Dakota Telephone Company when it was first formed in 1993. He has served as a trusted leader to the company for over 25 years, largely contributing to its success.

The board of directors and employees wish to thank Dircks for his service to the company and wish him well in the future. An open house will be held in his honor on Friday, March 29, from 2-4 p.m. at the North Dakota Telephone Company headquarters located at 211 22nd St NW, Devils Lake, ND 58301 The public is invited to attend.

A search for a new CEO was conducted and the successor is expected to be named later this month.
