New Rockford Community Foundation grant deadline approaches

The New Rockford Community Foundation is still accepting online applications from New Rockford nonprofit and community organizations for the 2019 grant cycle. The deadline is Wednesday, April 10.

For instructions on how to register your organization and to apply for a grant, visit http://www.NDCF.net/NewRockford and click on the Apply tab. Anyone needing assistance with the online application process should contact Kara Geiger with the North Dakota Community Foundation at (701) 222-8349.

Applicants must be designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, or a government agency. Groups without such designation seeking to apply may enlist a fiscal sponsor.

The New Rockford Community Foundation was established in 2008 as a permanent endowment fund managed by the North Dakota Community Foundation. Earnings from the fund are given as grants every year to organizations that support the New Rockford community. To date, the New Rockford Community Foundation has awarded more than $21,000. Most recently, in 2018, nine organizations were awarded a total sum of $3,610 in grant funds. This year there will be $4,069 in grants available to non-profit organizations and projects serving the community of New Rockford
