Lester Roberts returned from a visit to Arizona on Tuesday. He attended a get-together of friends from Oberon at the home of Odean Olson as well as visiting others in the area. He divided his time between his sisters, Jean Olson and Marlene Miller. All in all, he had a great time on his Arizona adventure. Lester’s daughter, Bobbi Duberowski, and her husband, Tom of Parkers Prairie, Minn.,were weekend visitors. Lester took in the retirement party for Eloise Ploium in Oberon on Saturday. Roger Roberts visited Lester Saturday evening.

Betty Rushfeldt visited her sister, Sharon Rance in Devils Lake on Saturday. Betty and Sharon enjoyed a visit with their cousin, Lois Neubauer of Bottineau who was in Devils Lake to visit her daughter, LeeAnn. The ladies grew up together in the Webster area.

Amanda and Fallyn Hegland attended the pop-up shopping event at Sarah Smith Warren’s Photography Studio in New Rockford on Saturday. Saturday night, Jake, Amanda and Fallyn went to the movies in New Rockford. Piper hung out with Grandpa and Grandma Hegland.

Dave and Linda Madson, Carrie Madson and Paul Prince were among many friends and relatives who attended the retirement party for Eloise Ploium held at the Community Center in Oberon Saturday afternoon. Eloise entertained the group with stories of her experiences while delivering mail. In the 40 years that she delivered the mail, there had to be a lot of those. Dave and Linda were overnight guests at Carrie and Paul’s Saturday night. Cathy and Shawn Caulfield of Jamestown were Saturday night guests at Melodie Madson’s home in Devils Lake. On their way home Sunday afternoon, they stopped by to see Dave and Linda at their home in Devils Lake.

Lacey and Brittany Grann were barrel racing participants at the Fargo rodeo over the weekend. John, Donna, Ben and Johnny also went to Fargo to watch them perform. John, Donna and Johnny were Sunday morning visitors of Lori Grann and family at Perth.
