Obituary: Beverly Dauenhauer

Beverly J. Dauenhauer, 72, passed away April 2, 2019 at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, N.D. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford. Burial will be in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery, New Rockford. Father Reese Weber will officiate. Casket bearers will be Jacob Dauenhauer, Jordan Dauenhauer, Jesse Dauenhauer, Taylor Arthaud, Tanner Dauenhauer and Laurel Rakness. Honorary bearers will be Breanna Read, Kylie Dauenhauer, Megan Dauenhauer, Morgan Dauenhauer and Madison Dauenhauer.

Beverly was born March 12, 1947 in Lemmon, S.D., the daughter of Gordon and Martha (Hay) Ericsson. She worked at the Lemmon Truck Stop where she met Ted Dauenhauer. They were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lemmon, S.D. The family moved to Kenyon, Minn., in 1968. They moved to Pine Island, Minn., where Beverly worked at the corner store and the Pine Island Nursing Home. They moved to New Rockford in 1986 where she worked as a CNA at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd for 26 years and she retired in 2012.

She is survived by her three sons, Todd (Rhonda) Dauenhauer, New Rockford, Troy Dauenhauer, Jamestown, N.D. and Tim (Bonnie) Dauenhauer, Jamestown; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; mother; sister, Lorraine Moore, Lemmon, S.D.; brother, Jerry Ericsson, Lemmon; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
