Twenty-eight kids from the Carrington Pitcrew wrestling team participated in the 2019 State Folkstyle Individual Tournament March 22-23 in Bismarck.

The team placed 9th. Twelve individual wrestlers placed in their weight class, as named below:

• Rynna Jorgensen, 6th place in Sub-Bantam 40

• Landin Clifton, 1st place in Sub-Bantam 49

• Ridge Kramlich, 2nd place in Bantam 56

• Nic Garber, 4th place in Intermediate 93

• Charlie Jorgensen, 4th place in Intermediate 120+

• Talon Larsen, 6th place in Novice 98

• Callen Garber, 1st place in Novice 160

• Jacob Hinrichs, 1st place in Novice 160+

• Dru Carr 5th place in Schoolboy 71

• Trace Hoggarth, 3rd place in Schoolboy 90

• Corbin Clifton, 3rd place in Schoolboy 106

• Kael Kovar, 5th place in Schoolboy 119

Carrington hosted the first annual Region 2 individual tournament in March, where the locals were named team champions and had several individual champions as well.

Now the wrestlers prepare for the Freestyle/Grecko state competition in late April.
