It’s that time of year again to gear up for summer activities with the New Rockford Park District. From 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, the New Rockford Park District will host a registration for summer activities at the Eagles Club.
A free-will taco-in-a-bag meal will be served until 7 p.m.
Registration will be open for the following activities:
• Swim passes: single $75; family $200
• Swim lessons: ages 5 and up, levels 1-6 $40
• T-Ball: ages 5-8, $50
• Coach Pitch: ages 9-10, $50
• Cal Ripken: ages 11-12, $80
• Babe Ruth: ages 13-15, $80
• Girls Slowpitch Softball: ages 12-16, $40
Also, the New Rockford Park District has launched a contest to find a new logo. Artists of any age are welcome to submit their creative masterpiece to the Park District located at City Hall, 117 1st St. S. in New Rockford by Thursday, April 25.
The Board of Park Commissioners will pick the top design to become the new Park District logo. The winner will receive a single swim pass for the season.
