The season has ended for the Wonder Lanes Junior/Majors bowling league. This year we had 12 bowlers in this league which consists of students 12 years of age thru high school, both boys and girls. The annual awards banquet was held on Sunday, April 7 at Wonder Lanes.
The winning team was the King Pins team consisting of Haydon Meier and Zander Anglebrandt. Second place team was "The Duo", with bowlers Justyne Klocke and Ashley Schuster.
The girls high game was bowled by Ashley Schuster with her 253 game, which is an all-time high for junior bowling girls at Wonder Lanes- Second high game was Justyne Klocke with a 211. High game for boys was Bennett Meier with a 244 and second Zander Anglebrandt with a 236. High girls series was Justyne with a 582, just 10 pins shy of the girls all-time high and Ashley with a 572. High boys series was Zander with a 644 and Bennett with 544.
High averages were Ashley with 157 and Justyne with 139. Boys high averages was Zander with 168 and Haydon Meier with a 143. Most improved average was Ashley with a 13-pin increase over last year's average and Princess White of Fort Totten with a 10-pin increase. High for boys was Connor Knatterud with a 22.9 pin increase and Bennett with a 19 pin increase.
Perfect attendance was achieved by the entire league, with Ashley finishing with 11 years attendance, followed by Justyne with 10, Zander with 9 and the rest of the league 1 to 7 years.
