Many New Rockford and Area folks flocked to City Hall Sunday and enjoyed the Annual “Fill the Boot” firemen's breakfast.
Todd Harrison was a Monday Visitor at the Shirley Packard home. Wednesday, son Calvin, drove Shirley to Devils Lake for an eye appointment and Saturday, Calvin and Shirley were among those who attended graveside service for Gary Peters at Prairie Home Cemetery.
Gramma Karen Koepplin spent a couple of days with baby Kenna, Allyssa and Ross Lewis in Dickinson.
Gary and Kathy Anderson, David and Karen Anderson and grandson Weston, Ryan and Laura Hager and family, Kent and Shelly Rigsby, Peter and Patti Larson and Sandra and Glenn and Judy Cudworth, not only brought 88th birthday greetings to Mom, gramma and sister Margie Anderson, on Sunday, but a banquet of food and special cake.
Leo and Janet Laube enjoyed a Tuesday morning phone call from niece, Robin Westfall of Fargo.
Candy Jensen made all of cousin Charlotte Koepplin favorites and brought supper, belated birthday card and gift to Charlotte’s house Wednesday. Every morsel was enjoyed along with a good visit.
Calvin Packard and mom Shirley, were among those who enjoyed a spaghetti supper benefit for Chad Allmaras Saturday at the Eagles Club in New Rockford. Sunday the Packards along with Tim Hartl, took in the annual fireman’s breakfast at City Hall in New Rockford.
So many family and friends attended the graveside gathering and burial of Gary Peters, Saturday at Prairie Home Cemetery, near New Rockford and a celebration of life and supper at Hanson’s Bar Saturday following. Jason Anderson read the obituary at graveside and a heartfelt eulogy and Rob Lies lead all in the Lord’s Prayer as all bid Gary a fond farewell.
