Pitcrew close season at State Free-Style and Greco Tournament

The Carrington Pitcrew wrapped up their wrestling season with the State Freestyle and Greco tournament on Saturday, April 27 at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Landin Clifton and Jacob Hinrichs earned Triple Crowns by placing first in all three styles of wrestling- Folk Style, Free Style and Greco.

The Spencer Tufte Hardest Worker Award is given each year in Memory of Spencer Tufte, a member of the Carrington wrestling club who along with his siblings lost his life in a house fire. This award is given to an individual or, in this case, two individuals who come to practice, work hard and encourage their teammates just like Spencer did. This year's award winners were Corbin Clifton and Skye Kramlich.

The Carrington Pitcrew wrestling club will host a wrestling camp this summer, which is open to all wrestlers. The Carrington Wrestling Club will also be one of the local food vendors at the Foster County Fair in June.
