American Legion Auxiliary elects officers, give awards for years of service

On Monday, May 13, the American Legion Post 30 Auxiliary installed new officers for the 2019-20 season. The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families. The American Legion Auxiliary advocates for veterans, educates our citizens, mentors youth, and promotes patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

Membership in the American Legion Auxiliary includes mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, and grandmothers of all men and women who were in the Armed Forces of the United States. New members are all always welcome. For information on membership contact Eloise Lucht, membership chairperson, at (701) 947-2964.

The American Legion Auxiliary also honored members who have served the organization for long periods of time.
