Yard of the Week - June 3, 2019

The New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation has announced the first Yard of the Week. The winner for the week of June 3 is Frank and Anne Erickson. They were nominated by fourth grader Sophie Skogen. She says, "Every time I look out our front door, I see their perfectly green grass. Their yard is always well kept and... is the first yard in the spring to be bright green."

Nomination forms are available at City Hall or Bakers Dozen. You can also nominate someone by filling out this survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WT3XG32. Nominators may remain anonymous if desired. One yard will receive the honor each week through September 30. Winners receive Chamber bucks and recognition in the newspaper and on social media. A sign is displayed in their yard during the week as well.
