Obituary: Ida Tedrow

Ida Tedrow, 91, passed away May 29, 2019, at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center, Northwood, N.D. The funeral service was June 3 at First Congregational Church, New Rockford with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Sheyenne, N.D. Rev. Mindy Meier officiated with special music provided by Becky Drege, Kathy Schuchard and Shelly Hagen. Casket bearers were Ryan Hagen, Dana Drege, Merlin Lindstrom, Marvin Tveito, Corey Hagen, Nathan Drege and Rodney Lindstrom. Honorary bearers were all of Ida's grandchildren

Ida was the daughter of Siver and Signe (Benson) Tveito. She was born Feb. 26, 1928, on the family farm in Gates Township near Sheyenne. She attended the Divide Country School and graduated from Sheyenne High School in 1946. She enjoyed her years of employment with the County Auditor and Register of Deeds Offices for Eddy County.

On March 26, 1955, Ida was united in marriage to William (Bill) Tedrow. She was an active member of the Tiffany Ladies Aide and First Congregational Church Women's fellowship.

Ida is survived by her children; Randy of Carrington, N.D., Becky (Loren) Drege of LaMoure, N.D., Kathy (Joe) Schuchard of New Rockford, Shelly (Terry) Hagen of Northwood; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Joyce Tveito, Mandan, N.D.; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dennis, daughter-in-law Janice, one grandson and siblings: Ted, Art, Pete, Ben, Sam, Jens, Gehard, Ervin, Ivar, Bert, Mike, Lewis, Sena, Anna and Thelma.
