Obituary: Louis Guler

Louis Guler, 95, New Rockford, died June 4, 2019 at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford.

Louis was born March 6, 1924 at New Rockford, the son of Peter and Barbara (Hilbert) Guler. He attended school at New Rockford where he received his education. He enjoyed track and was the fastest runner in the state of N.D. from 1940 - 1941. He grew to manhood where he helped on area farms.

He and Janet Wren were married April 26, 1969 and made their home in New Rockford where he was a laborer on a road construction crew for many years until his retirement.

Louis was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in New Rockford, member of the Eagles and was an avid sports lover.

He is survived by his wife, New Rockford.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harry, George, Ernie, Norman and sister, Katherine.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
