Joe and Braden Schmid were home to celebrate Father’s Day with Howard and Helen last weekend.

Lester Roberts attended the graveside services for Kay Lohnes at Hillside Cemetery in Oberon on Friday. Saturday, Lester was in Grand Forks to attend the outdoor wedding of Erin Westby and Paul Cochran at the Centennial Pavilion. He also visited Ryan, Megan and Aiden Thorson at their home. Lester called on Les and Janice Ferry on Sunday evening.

Monday, Randy and Charlotte Simon took in the Pony and Midget baseball games in Harvey. Their grandchildren, Easton and Jaxon were playing. Charlotte visited her mother, Joan Bosch, at the Care Center in Rugby Friday afternoon. Following her visit, she attended the Eric Bergeson Successful Gardening 2019 North Dakota Tour presentation at Ellery Park in Rugby Friday evening. Randy and Charlotte attended the wedding of Megan Wald and Jace Green in Devils Lake Saturday.

Monday through Wednesday, Amanda Hegland was in Bismarck attending the Economic Development Conference. Thursday evening, Amanda’s parents, Terry and Nancy Weischedel were overnight guests at Jake and Amanda’s home.

Carol Griffin Eckart of Bismarck was a guest at Dave and Linda Madson’s home in Devils Lake Wednesday and Thursday. Dave, Linda and Carol were joined by Melodie Madson to enjoy supper at The View at Spirit Lake Casino on Thursday evening. Carrie Madson was a brief visitor at the Madson’s Friday morning. Dave and Linda, along with Michael and Amy Jacobson and Mr. Syl Brown were coffee guests at Melodie ‘s home Sunday afternoon. The Jacobson’s served cake and ice cream in celebration of their wedding anniversary. Congratulations to Mike and Amy. Saturday evening following the garage sale clean-up, Dave and Linda, Carrie, Melodie, Kennedee and McKenzee and Amy enjoyed supper at a Devils Lake restaurant. Michael, Amy and Melodie were supper guests at Dave and Linda’s home Sunday evening.

Bobbi, Lacey and Brittany Grann competed in rodeos in Dunseith, Watford City and Belcourt over the weekend. John, Donna and Johnny Grann went to the horse races in Brittany’s Dad along with his friends, Scott and Steve, also came from Bathgate to watch Brittany compete.
