Summer Street Market popping up downtown

Betterment Corporation is organizing a “Summer Street Market” for July 11, from 4-7 p.m. in Centennial Park. NRABC intern and event organizer, Natalie Carlson says there will be vendors selling locally-made produce, baked goods, crafted goods and food items.

“Some of our local businesses in town will also be hosting sales and special events,” says Carlson.

Amanda Hegland, NRABC Executive Director adds, “One of our goals is to bring more people downtown. We wanted to have a safe and fun family and community orientated event. We have a beautiful park right in our downtown and we wanted to utilize that space. We hope that this event will showcase the local makers’ market as well as our local retail businesses.”

The Summer Street Market is made possible through partnerships with NRABC, Miller’s Fresh Foods, Blue Bird Boutique and The Glass Act.

Potential vendors include Hawkes Homestead, Clean Little Boy Soaps, Duchessa Gelatos, and 4th Corporation. Other artisan and food vendors include the Skogen family, Monica Meadows, Kathy Anderson, Marty Larson, Sifuentes family, and many more.
