Park District Logo Contest entries on display for vote

Voting is open for the New Rockford Park District’s logo contest. This spring the organization solicited ideas for a new logo. The top submissions are now on display, and residents are encouraged to vote for their favorite.

The logos will be on display at Bank Forward from July 22-26, Bakers Dozen July 28-Aug. 2 and at Community Credit Union Aug. 5-9. The design receiving the most votes will become the park district’s new logo. Watch for the announcement in a future edition.

The park district is also selling engraved bricks to raise money for future projects. The new bricks will be installed in the existing sidewalk near the playground equipment.

The cost is $125 per brick, including three lines of engraved text each with 15 characters or less (including punctuation and spaces). Forms are available at City Hall.
