Threshing Bee at Stump Lake is this weekend

Mark your calendars for Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2 for the Threshing Bee at Stump Lake Village. There will be a range of exciting activities including grain threshing, broom making and of course, tours of the Stump Lake Village and Main Street Historical Museum.

Demonstrations include lefse and butter making. Kids will enjoy barrel rides, petting zoo, pedal tractor pull, live music and a kid’s money scramble.

Stump Lake Village is located at the entrance of Stump Lake Park, 12 miles south of Lakota or 10 miles north of Pekin on ND Hwy 1.

Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12. Children under 6 are free. Tickets are good for both days of the event.
