Wednesday visitors and helpers at the Leo and Janet Laube home were Leo’s sister Lois Ockert and daughter Rhonda Berglund, both of Fargo. All took care of business and visited with Leo at the Lutheran Home.
Martin and Eloise Lucht caught a ride to Devils Lake Friday afternoon with Charlotte Koepplin. Eloise got good news from an appointment at the Eye Clinic. Martin visited at the Glen and Ardy Salisbury home. Charlotte did some necessary shopping and later picked up Eloise at the Eye Clinic and had a brief visit at the Salisbury home, picking up Marty. All were back in New Rockford safe and sound.
Candy Jensen tended to pet duty over the weekend at the Sandy and Terry Koepplin home while the Koepplin families enjoyed at little R&R in Medora.
Visitors at the Shirley Packard home and campers in New Rockford over the weekend were daughter Cheryle and Dave Gabbert of Minnesota. The Gabberts accompanied Shirley and Calvin to Sunday morning service at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrington and later brunch at the Chieftain and a brief stop at Golden Acres Manor to check on Edgar Duda and visit a bit with Sylvia Kjos there.
Todd and Karen Koepplin, Martin and Janelle Koepplin, Aaron and Danielle Koepplin, Taylor and Amanda Koepplin, Frederick and Dianne Allmaras and Allmaras families were in Dickenson over the week where all attended the wedding of Alyssa Koepplin and Ross Lewis at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and later the reception and dance at WIX Barn and Lodge at Richardton, N.D.
Saturday visitors at the Leo and Janet Laube home were Scott and Rhonda Westall. They drove to Devils Lake on business and enjoyed visiting over dinner at Mr. and Mrs. Jay’s Restaurant. On the return trip to New Rockford, they visited with Uncle Leo at the Lutheran Home.
Tuesday Ken and Marvis Holte drove to Jamestown to do some shopping and enjoyed a chat over coffee with daughter Fay Nelson. Sunday the Holte’s were visitors of Cody and Amanda Bickett and Izzy.
Wednesday Elaine Thompson was a visitor at the Shirley Packard home. Mindy Skjerva and Audrey Jo were one-day visitors.
Visitors this past week at the Lillian Gedrose home were Marlyn Gedrose and Agnes Leik.
Martin Lucht was a patient at Carrington Medical Center for several days. He is home and doing great.
