This weeks Yard of the week winner is Roger and Betty Westby. Nominated twice. "Their gardens are an amazing place to visit! On the south side of town, just near the tracks, there is a yard worthy of attention. Roger and Betty Westby have been named this week's Yard of the Week by the New Rockford Area Betterment Corporation. The Westbys were nominated twice for the award.

So the next time you go south on U.S. Highway 281, give a nod to the beautiful yard of Roger and Betty Westby. Perhaps you'd even like to give Snoopy a wave.
Yard of the Week nomination forms are available at City Hall, Miller's Fresh Foods and Bakers Dozen. One yard will be named each week. Winners receive $25 in Chamber bucks and have recognition in the newspaper and on social media each week through Sept. 30.
