Jakob Schmid and Alison Widmer of Bismarck were home for the weekend.

Saturday evening, Howard and Helen, Tom and Pam, JD and Jakob and Joe and Doug Schmid enjoyed supper together at Harriman’s in Maddock.

Last Sunday, Tom and Pam visited Pam’s dad, Bud Hermanson in Hampden.

Monday, Chad Getscher and Lester Roberts went to New Rockford on business. Lester was also in New Rockford on Friday on business. Saturday, the Roberts family met in Rugby. Enjoying the get-together were Delores Stack, Jean Olson, June Sabbe, Marlene Miller, Misti Sabbe, Lezlee Thorson, Roger and Lester. Lester visited James Nelson Saturday evening.

Joe Schmid of Fargo was home for the weekend.

Thursday, Grandpa Randy and Grandma, Charlotte Simon visited Mason and Miles Simon’s Small Wonder Day Care and Preschool in Fargo for Grandparent’s Day. Randy and Charlotte went on to Grand Forks and were overnight guests at Carson and Heidi Thompson’s home. Friday, they visited Max Thompson’s kindergarten classroom and enjoyed watching his activities and then had lunch with him. Saturday, Randy and Charlotte attended the funeral for Ricky Olson in Maddock. Our sympathy to Ricky’s family.

Craig and Jeff Poulsen visited Dave and Linda Madson on Thursday afternoon. Dave and Linda traveled to Grand Forks on Friday. Sunday evening, Dave and Linda and neighbor, Mr. Syl Brown were supper guests at Melodie Madson’s home.

John Grann received news on Wednesday that his Aunt, Harriet Hanson, passed away. She was the last living sibling in his dad’s family. Wednesday, John and Donna went to Big Iron in Fargo and spent the day. Donna received news on Thursday afternoon that her oldest brother, Eugene Howard, had passed away. Our sympathy to John and Donna and their families. Saturday and Sunday, the Grann ladies competed in Barrel Racing jackpots in Menoken and Dunseith.

Doris Griffin helped set up the Cooper Building getting it ready for the New Rockford Steam Threshers Reunion next weekend.
