Yard of the Week: Sept 23, 2019

Todd and Kerri Allmaras have been named this week's Yard of the Week winner. They were nominated twice by folks in the neighborhood.

Kristi Frahm says, "Donn and I notice the Allmaras yard frequently as they live near us. The grass is always groomed nicely, and the front yard is appealing with a nice arrangement of colorful flowers and well kept bushes!"

Ben and Beth Talcott completed their nomination with these words, "They have a beautiful well maintained yard, always a pleasure to look at in our way to the park. Kerri does a beautiful job with her flowers, and Todd keeps his lawn well groomed. They both put a lot of effort in maintaining it and it shows!"

The New Rockford Area Betterment corporation is continuing the Yard of the Week contest through the week of Sept. 30. Yard of the Week nomination forms are available at City Hall, Miller's Fresh Foods and Bakers Dozen. One yard will be named each week. Winners receive $25 in Chamber bucks and have recognition in the newspaper and on social media.
