Obituary: Susan Dressen

Susan Dressen, 52,of Minnewaukan, N.D., Sept. 10, 2019 in a Grand Forks Hospital. Funeral services were held on Sept. 14, at the Trinity Free Lutheran Church of Minnewaukan. Visitation was held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Sept. 13. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Susan was born on March 23, 1967 in Harvey. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Karen (Hoffer) Bredine. She grew up and attended school in Harvey, and graduated from Harvey High School in 1985. She then worked at the Farmers Union Oil Company in Harvey. She sold Avon and Mary Kay Cosmetics for many years. Susan also worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant and a Med Tec Aid in the communities of Harvey, Rugby, Maddock, Devils Lake, and New Rockford. Susan was once married to Don Rieger and they had three children Andrew, Stephanie and Brandon. She married Floyd Dressen on Sept. 8, 2007 in Minnewaukan. She was a member of the Trinity Free Lutheran Church of Minnewaukan.

Susan is survived by her husband, Floyd Dressen of Minnewaukan; children, Andrew Rieger of Esmond, N.D., Stephanie (Jordan) Grossman of New Rockford; two grandchildren; father and stepmother, Towner, N.D .; brother, Lynn Bredine of Harvey.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother and son, Brandon.
