Savageau promoted by Highway Patrol

Colonel Brandon Solberg of the North Dakota Highway Patrol announces the promotion and reassignment of Sergeant David M. Wolf and Trooper Evan Savageau effective Oct. 1, 2019.

Trooper Savageau was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and reassigned to serve in the southeast region, based in Jamestown. Sgt. Savageau graduated from the North Dakota Highway Patrol academy in 2011 and served as a traffic enforcement trooper in Williston and Carrington, and most recently New Rockford. Sgt. Savageau holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Jamestown College.

Sgt. Wolf was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to serve as the Commander of Motor Carrier Operations. Lt. Wolf began his career with the NDHP in 1997 by attending the ND Highway Patrol academy. Upon graduation, he was stationed as a trooper in Hettinger and Fargo. Wolf was promoted to sergeant in 2007 and served most recently as a Motor Carrier Sergeant in the southeast region. Lt. Wolf graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is a graduate of the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command.
