The Buehler family celebrated the wedding of Elisa Buehler and Joe Wentz last weekend with many dear family and friends. Family staying at the Buehler farm were Deb and Joel Hjelseth, Jason and Dawn Hjelseth all of Chattanooga, Tenn.; David Hjelseth of Ga.; Don and Beth Canardo of San Francisco, Calif.; Michael Pacheco of Watford City and Grace Ihry of NDSU. Elisa Wentz, Breana Buehler and Mavis, and Grace Ihry visited the Buehler farm over the weekend. Sunday afternoon, Beau, Bria and Brittin came over to celebrate Breana’s and Joel’s birthdays. Happy belated birthday to Breana and Joel.

Jakob Schmid was home from Bismarck on Thursday to see Grandpa and Grandma Schmid. Tom and Pam Schmid traveled to Minot on Saturday to take in the Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo.

David Nelson visited his dad, James, on Sunday. Gene Woolley visited James one day this past week.

Doris Griffin enjoyed the soup and sandwich benefit for Susan Dressen that was held at the senior center in Minnewaukan. It was sponsored by Thrivent and Timely Topics ladies.

Charlotte Simon went to a quilt retreat at Lake Metigoshe Ministries from Wednesday to Saturday.

Chad Getscher visited Lester Roberts on Wednesday. Friday, Lester kept a medical appointment in Grand Forks. Following his appointment, he had lunch with Janice Brown and Peggy Kindem. Saturday visitors at Lester’s home were Bruce and Gwen Olson of Santa Monica, Calif.; Bobbi and Tom Duberowski of Parkers Prairie, Minn.; Kayla Thorson of Victoria, Minn.; Sean and Stephanie Thorson of Bismarck; Ryan, Megan and Aiden Thorson of Grand Forks and Roger Roberts. Saturday evening, Lester was among friends at Woodland Resort to help Lezlee Thorson celebrate her 60th birthday. Happy belated birthday greetings to Lezlee. Sunday evening, Lester visited James Nelson and Midge Quam.

Monday, Bobbi Grann went to Flandreau, S.D., to visit friends and pick up a horse to ride and train for barrel racing. John Grann and family went to Rolette, N.D. to watch the NR-S football team play the North Prairie Cougars. Johnny’s cousin, Holden Grann, plays for the Cougars so a family rivalry was on. The Rockets came out on top. Brittany Grann went on a wine walk in Langdon on Thursday evening with friends from back home. Donna Grann attended the funeral for Deanna Hanson on Friday morning. Our sympathy to Deanna’s family.

Dave and Linda Madson traveled to Grand Forks where Linda kept a medical appointment on Monday. Friday, Paul Prince and Carrie Madson treated Dave and Linda and Paul’s brother, Jay to lunch at a Devils Lake restaurant to celebrate Linda’s birthday. Melodie, Kennedee, and McKenzee Madson were supper guests at Dave and Linda’s home Friday evening. Carrie Madson, Paul and Jay Prince and Dave and Linda were afternoon coffee guests at Melodie’s Sunday afternoon. Michael Jacobson was a brief visitor at the Madson’s Sunday evening.
