Call for submissions: Tales from the youth hunt

The North Dakota Game and Fish youth seasons have come to an end. The young hunters of North Dakota are fortunate to have these opportunities to hunt deer, waterfowl, and upland birds like pheasant and grouse, and the “New Rockford Transcript” wants to publish their stories.

Youth are encouraged to submit a photograph along with a short story (approximately 100 words or less) about their hunting experience.

Information should include the individual’s name, age, hometown, the season(s) participated in, the outcome of the hunt, and what he or she likes best about hunting.

The stories will be edited for grammar and spelling, and then combined and featured in a special photo story in the Transcript.
