Oberon Oracles News: Oct. 21, 2019

Mother Nature really did a grand job of initiating winter. So sorry the farmers and ranchers are having such a hard time.

My news is pretty short this week since so nobody could get out and about to make news.

Doris Griffin reported that her chickens were happy to see her when she finally got out to the barn on Sunday.

Chad Getscher was a Sunday visitor at Lester Roberts’ home. Lezlee Thorson also visited her Dad on Sunday. Other than that, Lester said he took a “snow-check” the rest of the week.

Thursday evening, John and Donna Grann stopped by Gene Woolley’s home to visit and make sure he was ready for the snow storm. Sunday evening, the John Grann family was able to leave the farm and have supper in Devils Lake.

Dave and Linda Madson and Mr. Syl Brown were coffee guests at Melodie Madson’s home Sunday afternoon. Linda was a supper guest at Melodie’s Sunday evening.
