Storm causes volleyball postponements

Mother Nature took a sledgehammer to area sports schedules, and the NR-S volleyball team was no exception to her wrath.

The Rockets’ match originally slated on October 10 with Dunseith was moved to Tuesday, November 5, with junior high starting action at 5 p.m. and followed by junior varsity and varsity matches.

Because of the scheduling conflict presented by the football team’s game with Cavalier moving to last Tuesday, another Super Region 4 match planned for that day with North Star in New Rockford has also been rescheduled to Friday, November 1.

Play with the Bearcats will be a full schedule of A-B-C-8th-7th grade matches starting at 3:30 p.m.
