$1,000 up for grabs in Chamber's holiday campaign

Want a chance to win part of $1,000 this holiday season? The New Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce is giving away a grand, and all you have to do to win is shop local!

The Jolly Jingle promotion begins today, Nov. 18 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 15. For every purchase of $10 or more made at a participating New Rockford business, the purchaser will receive an entry into the Jolly Jingle drawing. Simply fill out the slip with your name and phone number and deposit it into that business’s entry box.

Shoppers will again get double entries all week long during Winterfest, our hometown holiday shopping event. Receive two entries for every purchase of $10 or more at participating businesses from Sunday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 7.

Saturday, Dec. 7 is the annual Santa Day event, and it’s chock full of full for all! With a Holiday Pop-up Shop in downtown New Rockford featuring 12 vendors, movie matinée at the Rockford Theatre, kids carnival and visits with Santa at the Brown Memorial, and an afternoon production of “A Christmas Story: The Musical” at DPRCA, it’s a great opportunity to get out and show support for the small businesses that keep our community viable. Starting Monday, Nov. 25, each participating business is designated a day to draw a winner from their entry box. That way, the more local businesses you patronize, the more opportunities you have to win! Each winner receives $25 in Chamber bucks. Altogether, that’s $500 in Chamber bucks up for grabs.

All Jolly Jingle entries will be collected on Monday, Dec. 16, and a drawing will be held that day in the lobby of Bank Forward for the remaining $500 in Chamber bucks. Twelve $25 and two $100 gift certificates will be given away.

Merchants participating in the Jolly Jingle promotion will have bright pink signs displayed in their windows or on their counters and a festive holiday-themed entry box to place your entry blanks!
