Patti Clifton enjoyed lunch with her sister-in-law Peg Clifton in Carrington recently.

The Eddy County VFW Auxiliary served an early Veteran's Day supper at the clubhouse in Sheyenne on Nov. 10. Veterans, along with their guests and auxiliary members, enjoyed the evening.
Kathy Magnan and Jan Loe attended the New Rockford American Legion pancake breakfast at the New Rockford Eagles Club on Veteran's Day.
Last Thursday, the Warwick girls met at the Sheyenne Senior Center for noon lunch and visiting, with lots of laughter too! Jan Loe, Janice Myers and Kay Gravdahl were hostesses for the get-together.
Jill Louters, New Rockford-Sheyenne Public School Superintendent, spoke about her recent trip to China last Tuesday at the Sheyenne Senior Center.
Mark your calendars: A Community Christmas Party will be held at the Sheyenne Senior Center on Friday, Dec. 6, from 1– 5 p.m. Dakota Blende will entertain those attending with their violin and keyboard duets from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Coffee and snacks will be served at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend to help kick off the holiday season.
Volunteers are needed to help with the annual Community Christmas Day Dinner at Ostby Hall. If interested in helping in any way, contact Dianne at (701) 996-4721.
Tuesday, Nov. 26, is the monthly birthday celebration at the Sheyenne Senior Center, honoring those with November birthdays. Everyone is welcome to attend.
