4-H Trail Riders report

On Sunday, Nov. 17, the Trail Riders 4-H group held a meeting at the Grace Lutheran Church in Sheyenne. All of the club’s 11 members were present.

Old business included planning for the annual Helping Hands event at the Lutheran Home on Dec. 1. On that day, all the area 4-H clubs come together to decorate the Christmas trees at the home.

New business including planning the club’s Christmas party. The group came up with many good ideas before finally deciding on the movie theater. With any luck, we’ll be able to watch one of the two movies agreed upon, “Born Free” or “Second-Hand Lions.”

After the meeting, I led the activity on hand crocheting with super-chunky yarn.
